FAQ's
Check in / Check Out
Our check-in time is from 15:00PM, however your room might be ready sooner. If it isn't, you can leave your luggage at reception with us and as soon as the room is ready we can drop it up to the room and let you know as well. We will try our best to accommodate your request, however we can not guarantee an earlier check-in.
Our check-out time is 11:30AM. The latest check-out we can offer is 12:30PM. If you wish to stay a little longer, please let us know in advanced. (Note that this is not guaranteed especially on busier times).
Parking
On your arrival, we can give you a car parking permit which will allow you to park in an off-site car park, the St. John's Church car park. Please note that this parking permit is first come first serve.
A 50 Euro cash or credit card deposit is required for the parking permit, and is fully refunded upon check-out when the parking permit is returned to the reception desk. Please note we cannot take deposits from a debit card.
Please also note that there is a limited number of car parking permits available, so they are given to guests on a first come first served basis.
You can also park on the street outside the hotel. On street parking is free from 5.30pm until 8.30am every evening, and free all day long on Sundays & Public Holidays.
Accessible Rooms/ Lifts
The hotel can accommodate rooms that starts from the first floor onwards. If you are looking for wheelchair accessible rooms, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate as we do not have ground floor rooms nor a lift available in the hotel.
The closest room would be on the first floor approximately 20 steps before reaching to the rooms. We do provide bag carrying services at anytime requested. If this is alright with guest and would like to requests one of our closest rooms to reception, we would prioritise your request as best as we could to make your stay more pleasant with us.
Cancellation Policy
If you find it necessary to cancel a reservation, the Grand Hotel requires notification by 4.00PM 48 hours before your arrival date to avoid a charge for one night’s room rate.
