Tralee Town Park

Tralee Town Park or known locally as "The Green" is a public park located in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. Covering an area of 35 acres it is one of the largest urban public parks in Ireland. It is located in the heart of Tralee off Denny Street.

The park is famous for its Rose Garden and Garden of the Senses which have won numerous awards. The Rose Garden has been a feature of the park since 1987 and contains 35 varieties of roses over a 3 acre site. The Rose Wall contains the names of every Rose who has contested the Rose of Tralee Festival since 1959.

The Garden of the Senses was designed to appeal to the five senses and to be inviting to all members of society.

Dingle Indoor Rock Climbing

Maybe you are feeling a little adventurous, why not have a day out at Dingles indoor rock climbing centre. It has 2 large climbing walls with different levels of difficulty so even the adults can give it a try. As well, there is a bouldering wall and a mini wall for the younger kids to to test their skills and have fun doing so. Outside there is also a high climb obstacle course with 3 levels of height and a bungie jump pole if you're looking for a thrill. Fun for all the family!

Watersports

Being on an island means lots of water and beaches and one of the best things to do in Kerry is go to the beach. Kerry has multiple beaches and the ones near Tralee are some of the best. Banna an award winning beach and blue flag beach is famous for its long sandy strand and dunes. Inch Beach in Dingle is also one of the top beaches in Ireland with amazing surf and a restaurant just on the shoreline for when you get hungry from all that swimming. There are plenty of surf schools to rent boards from or get a lesson to make your experience here that much memorable.
