Aqua Dome

Aqua Dome Tralee Co. KerryVisit the Aqua Dome in Tralee and you are visiting one of Ireland's largest and most exciting indoor waterworlds.
The Aqua Dome's unique design features a castle, complete with whirlpool spa and water cannons, as well as an area designed exclusively for small children which includes a bubble slide, fountain and mushroom spray. Not only is the Aqua Dome a fun day out for children but it offers adults the chance to relax and unwind in its exclusive Sauna Dome. Adults can experience the heat of the saunas and the steam room and then take the plunge into the large cool pool.
Aqua Golf is located next to the Aqua Dome. This 18 hole miniature golf course has holes of varying length and difficulty which incorporate areas of rough and bunkers as well as humps and hollows - see if you can score that elusive hole in one!

Crag Caves

Crag Caves Castleisland Co. KerryDiscovered in 1983 and thought to be over one million years old Crag Cave is a magical wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites. It is an all weather visitor attraction located in Castleisland Co. Kerry.
A visit to Crag Cave will delight and enthrall all ages and our friendly guides will be pleased to explain the origins of the cave, describe its many beautiful formations and introduce visitors to a world older than mankind. Open daily mid March to November 1st.

Blennerville Windmill
Blennerville Windmill Tralee Co. KerryBlennerville Windmill is a living reminder of Ireland’s rich industrial heritage. Featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the “largest working windmill in these islands”, visitors are guided by the miller through each element of the flour making process.
Within the Windmill Visitor Centre there is a new exhibition and audio-visual presentation on Blennerville’s colourful history. During the Great Famine (1845-50) Blennerville was the main port of emigration from County Kerry. The Windmill Courtyard has a craft shop, traditional pottery, enamel and metalwork craft units.
The Windmill Restaurant is open daily from Easter-October 31. The Jeanie Johnston Visitor Shipyard adjoins the Windmill and Blennerville is linked to Tralee by the historic Tralee & Dingle Steam Railway which departs on the half-hour from Blennerville.

Kerry the Kingdom Museum

Kerry in Colour – a panoramic multi-image audio-visual tour of County Kerry.
Kerry County Museum – a museum with a difference. Interactive media and reconstructions stand side-by-side with priceless treasures dating from the Stone and Bronze Age to the present day. The Museum also hosts major international temporary exhibitions.
Geraldine Tralee – This is well worth a detour on its own! Imagine being transported 600 years back in time to the Middle Ages and experiencing a day in the life of an Irish medieval town. Visitors are seated in time cars and brought on a fascinating journey through the reconstructed streets, houses, Abbey and Castle of Geraldine Tralee complete with sounds and smells. Steam Train

Steam Train Co. KerrySteam Railways continue to fascinate and enthrall. The Tralee & Dingle line is special. It’s Europe’s most westerly line and, as part of the famous Tralee & Dingle Light Railway (1891-1953), has a folklore and tradition stretching back over a hundred years.
The steam railway links Tralee with Blennerville on the coast. Steam trains depart from Ballyard Station (on the Dingle Road) on the hour, from 11.00 a.m., returning on the half-hour from Blennerville. The last train departs Blennerville at 5.30pm.


Siamsa Tire

Siamsa Tire KerrySiamsa Tire is folk theatre entertainment based on a wealth of music, folklore, song and dance which evolved from an age in Ireland now passed and which is presented in "the most exciting theatre designed in Ireland this century".
Nightly stage shows portray in song, dance, and mime the social and domestic traditions of rural life. The costumes are colourful, the music is brilliant, and the dance routines are electrifying.

The Town Park
The Town Park Tralee Kerry IrelandTralee's Town Park covering some 80 acres and located in the heart of the town provides a quiet haven which allows residents and visitors alike to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Rose of Tralee Festival


Rose of Tralee, IrelandThe Rose of Tralee International Festival is based on the love song The Rose of Tralee, by William Mulchinock a 19th century wealthy merchant who was in love with Mary O'Connor, his maid. Since 1959 the Festival has grown, incorporating centres from all over the world and is firmly established on everyone's events calendar. RTÉ's live coverage of the Rose selection has helped install the Festival in the national psyche, and it has remained their top rating show for many years, with over a million people tuning in for the 2005 result. The Rose of Tralee festival runs from Friday 18th - Tuesday 22nd of August.
